Roger began giving private piano lessons in 1987. Pupils have ranged in ability from beginner to Diploma level and in ages from four to ninety three! All are welcome.

Lessons in music theory and keyboard improvisation are also available.

Students may be entered for the Associated Board of the Royal College of Music (ABRCM) examinations in all grades up to Diploma. The examinations are not compulsory and may be taken entirely at the student’s own discretion.

Regular practice is, of course, vital, so students must have access to an adequate piano or, in the early stages of learning, an electric keyboard.

Lesson fees

The price of a 1 hour lesson is £14 per half hour, or £28 per hour.

  • Students may choose half-, three quarter- or full hour sessions.
  • Lessons can be paid for individually or sets of lessons can be paid for in advance.
